Cherries

Cherries are the first tree fruit of the season, providing that precious, early fresh fruit, pies, cobblers and jams. They bloom profusely in the Spring, and the wood is highly sought after for cabinet making. They prefer a well-drained soil and consistent watering. Available on two rootstocks: Semi-dwarf Krymsk, a precocious rootstock that is very cold hardy and tolerant of wet soils. Trees can be kept at 10' with summer pruning. Very little suckering.
