Almond trees are handsome, resembling peaches in form. Almonds have the highest protien content of any nut, and are rich in protein, monounsaturated fats, calcium and vitamin E, (a natural anti-oxidant), and trace minerals. Available on Semi-dwarf Krymsk 1 and Marianna 2624 rootstock.

This is the almond for home orchards its semi-dwarf, so it wont get too large, and bears a prolific crops of sweet, soft-shelled almonds. We are in a marginal almond growing area yet weve had almonds every year on our 5-year-old tree. Self-fertile, and a good pollinator for other almonds. 500 chill hours. USDA zones 6-9.
