Santa Rosa Weeping Japanese Plum

There are actually several varieties of weeping plums, and more than one weeping Santa Rosa plum. Some produce, some do not; some weep others just grow in an awkward arch. This is one of the more productive varieties, with consistent yields of high quality fruit and long slender limbs that weep gracefully to the ground. Fruits ripen two weeks after Santa Rosa. 150-400 chill hours. Please note that you will not want to prune back the tree you receive as far as our planting guidelines recommend because of the weeping habit. Sunset zones 2, 3, 5-12, 14-23.
